Jakub originally from Poland studied architecture in Wroclaw, during which time he did an exchange year at Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands, where he participated in various international workshops, and spent a year working for Quad Architects in London. He joined Paul Archer Design in 2010 and also gained his architecture diploma in 2011.
His interest in residential architecture was particularly influenced by the time he spent in Holland. He was exposed to innovative approaches to housing design there and worked on a theoretical project called Vertical Village, which explored future ways of building houses in high-density urban environments. He is enthusiastic about gaining some practical design skills while realising small-scale residential projects at PAD.
